For #TequilaThursday, the guys are firing off the opening night of the NFL. Four player props are in the Fade Five including David Johnson, Will Fuller, Travis Kelce and Deshaun Watson. Then to round things out, Brad is hitting the over on the points total.
Brad is anxious for the football season to kick off, mostly because he’s hungry. Today’s Fade Five includes a season-long prop on Aaron Rodgers and not one but two Week 1 props involving Tyreek Hill. The guys don’t expect much scoring from the Colts and Jaguars. And they haven’t forgotten about the NBA Bubble as the look for the Nuggets to keep things close agains the Clippers.
With the NFL season now fully in sight, Brad is ready with Week 1 picks. How will Deshaun Watson perform on Thursday night now that he’s been paid? The Eagles and Washington as well as the Seahawks and Falcons are in today’s Fade Five. The guys haven’t forgotten about baseball as Brad looks for the White Sox to cover. And they get in one last season-long player prop to round things out.
With the NFL kicking off this week and college football on the Labor Day schedule, Brad and Nate dive in head first. Not one but two Week 1 games are included in today’s Fade Five plus the BYU/Navy game for tonight. The guys look at a strong player prop for Marcus Morris and the Clippers. Plus with the weather iffy in Colorado, Brad’s happy to see the Rockies in San Diego and expects more of the same: Overs.
Be prepared for Brad to break your ear drums with his singing. You’ve been warned. Brad’s hot streak in the MLB will be tested today by the Phillies and Mets. Can Bam Adebayo spice things up for the Heat in Orlando? Look for the Lakers to jump out early on the Rockets. And the guys prepare for next week’s start to the NFL season with two picks to jump on before kickoff.
There’s definitely a theme to today’s Fade Five as Brad looks ahead to the NFL season with a Week 1 total as well as a player prop on A.J. Brown. Don’t look for a lot of runs between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks. In Orlando, Toronto should slow down Jason Tatum and the guys wonder how much energy the Nuggets have left in the tank after finishing off the Jazz.
After a dud of a Game 7 last night (until the final 30 seconds) Brad is hoping for more fireworks tonight and he expects it from James Harden. The guys look at the opening week of the NFL with the Colts and Jaguars and add in a season-long prop for Rob Gronkowski. In the NBA Bubble, Brad is sticking to his guns when it comes to the Miami Heat and on the diamond he expects low scoring between the Cubs and Pirates.
Brad has his thoughts on the huge Game 7 tonight between the Nuggets and the Jazz. The guys disagree on total for the Tigers/Brewers game, but like Sonny Gray’s strikeout total for the Reds. Plus, the guys look ahead to Dak Prescott’s touchdown total and the Week 1 matchup between the Dolphins and Patriots.
Brad touches on the Leonard Fournette breaking news and its impact on Jacksonville’s betting lines. Then the guys jump into today’s Fade Five with NFL futures for Baltimore and Buffalo. They expect a lot of scoring with the Nationals and Phillies and still don’t understand who’s setting the strikeout lines for Shane Bieber. Plus, inside the NBA Bubble, look for Miami to keep things close.
With uncertainty on the sports calendar, Brad turns his attention for today to the NFL season with four futures bets. He has the team he believes will score the most points this season. Who will toss more touchdowns between Cam Newton and Teddy Bridgewater? The guys are down on Devin Singletary’s total rushing for the season, but in New York there’s a tight end they think will break through.
