Fantasy Five Rings

With the Paralympics coming up in the next few days, we bring you the next of our special Paris series of episodes, it's Preview du Paralympique! I am joined once again by the co-host of the Off The Podium podcast, Colin Hilding, as we each pick the 5 things we are looking forward to during the upcoming games. Will there be a crossover of things to look forward to? Will Brazil win the team sports? Will GB lead the medal table? Give it a listen and see what we are thinking!

With Breaking recently making its Olympic debut, we are joined once again by Sheldon the Rapper to take a deep dive over what happened during the competitions with our Breaking Breakdown! We talk our favourites, we talk what didn't like, we talk serious stuff and of course we talk Raygun.

The Olympics are over! But there's still time to chat about it, so that's what we are going to do on Revue de Paris Part 3 as we cover the final 6 days of the Games and the Closing Ceremony. Joining us for this one is the somehow still awake after presenting Off The Podium for 17 days straight, Colin Hilding, who enjoys not being the one asking the questions for a change. Plus there's a bunch of songs!

The Olympics are going by far too quick as we have hit the two thirds through mark. This though also means time for FFR to go through the games some more with Revue de Paris Part 2! I am joined by another brand new guest in American author Jamie Lyko as we talk Athletics & Mondo, Simone Biles and some of the Boxing controversy (though no more than 5 minutes).

We're already 6 days into the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and so it seemed like a good time to review what has happened so far. It's Fantasy Five Rings: Revue de Paris Part 1 and for this first foray we are joined by new guest, fellow podcaster G Hall. We talk about his native Canada's Football Drone issues, all the important Gold medals, what his home broadcaster has actually been showing + loads more!

It's a little late coming but it's time for the Fantasy Five Rings look back on the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony. I am joined once again the awesome Sheldon the Rapper who has..............thoughts. We run through the Ceremony from the top and give our opinions. Oh and Sheldon has another Dressage moment, this time with Minions, with a fantastic ending.

We're back! Already! With the Olympic Games beginning this week, we're joined by new guest, Trent Hawkins, co-host of the Sitting On Our Rings podcast, to preview Paris 2024. We each list five things that we are looking forward to about the games and why. Which smaller nations is Alex going to support? What's the surf like in the Brisbane area? It's all come down to this! 5 guests and 1 host have been given 120 million of their chosen currency to fund the sports they want to in a fantasy Olympics and now we're going to see who comes out on top. The first half of it anyway. This is Part 1 of the Series Finale, where we are joined by returning guest Sheldon the Rapper to do trivia, freestyle rap and give live reactions to numbers appearing on a spreadsheet. I've no idea if it'll work in an audio format but by jove are we going to find out!

It's time for another episode of Fantasy Five Rings and this week it's the last of the main interviews. Don't let that deter you from enjoying though as this time round we have on the wonderful Ben Waterworth, co-host of Off The Podium: An Olympics Podcast, to chat about what he would like to add to his own personal Olympic Games.
