It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right. We hope you had the time of your life.

We certainly did. Starting way back in August, Tres Amigos los Fantasia Futbol Fiesta have been bringing you witty banter, prescient insight, and actionable directives to help you reach this point: your fantasy football title match.

Or maybe the third-place game, or the Toilet Bowl, or you’ve been reduced to attempting to fatten up that DFS bankroll; hey, 60 percent of the time it works every time. But it hasn’t been for lack of trying.

We challenge you to find a fantasy football podcast that so painstakingly pairs intelligent analysis with juvenile humor. Where else will you get a breakdown of both the Maginot Line and the Vikings backfield? Why not toss back a Lift Bridge Tan Van or the weekly Grain Belt Premium while looking forward to Bo finishing his 50/50 with a Younghoe? Who else can look at the Tampa Bay receiving corps post-Hamstringagedon and note the literary and reproductive allegories of Ishmael Hymen?

In the show to end all shows, or at least the 2019 campaign, you had 2V laying down the Killer Gs at tight end while trotting out a naked Philip Rivers and leaning on the Change Bank for support; Magsh decked out in the ugliest Christmas outfit this side of Tim Allen in Santa Clause 3 while eschewing the ceilings for more floor time and high-probability outcomes; and Bo, with his home life literally going to the dogs, finding the inner fortitude to flawlessly decipher the teleprompter for both the news and weather.

In no other 69 plus five minute span of audio will you find more singular fantasy analysis and double entendres from three guys uniquely qualified to drink beer and help you win a fantasy championship. May we present, for the final time in 2019, the Fantasy Football Party podcast.

With the penultimate week of any self-respecting fantasy football season upon us, the three wise men who make up The Fantasy Football Party convened once again at JL Beers to quaff ales, break hearts, and make podcast magic.

With witty repartee snapping like Mike Evans’ hamstring, Tres Hombres los Futbol Fiesta Fantasia shared fantasy playoff and DFS regrets to help you the listener avoid similar fates. Delivering gut feelings from guts in far better shape than Calvin Ridley’s (Narrator: round is a shape), our beloved party-goers delivered actionable advice designed to fatten your wallet. And, like Marvin Jones’ ankle, they gave out… only in this case it was lineups jam-packed with players more than half of you could theoretically pick up and put to good use this week.

You had Magsh hip-hopping on the Raheem Mostert locomotive while laying the groundwork for a “Christmas Vacation” reprise (not a remake, a continuation). You had Bo building a gritty, gutty, and sneaky-fast wide receiver corps for his 50/50 team, summing it all up with an Internet meme involving an angry woman (Narrator: She’s not angry, she’s just pointing) and a cat (Narrator: Hey, I know you! I know you!). And you had 2V lamenting the bulk of his playoff teams going udders-up before rallying to give you a never-nude Eli, the Maginot Line of defenses, and the greatest fantasy tight end since J-Lo was a Fly Girl.

It was either Socrates or Sean Payton who famously said, “Worry about your freakin’ meat!” We assume at least one of them was talking about Sam the Butcher, but don’t let that dissuade you from dialing up the podcast you see before you and sucking down its content like it was the last glorious drop from the soon-to-be-slayed keg of Prairie Artisan Screenshot. After all, it’s the playoffs; you need to be at the apex of your game… and this is just the podcast to take you there.

No can do, compadre, not in the week so critical Bono skipped ten numbers just to shout it. Your beloved Party-goers were in rare form as they delivered your weekly dose of immediate regrets (fantasy football versions), disseminated actionable information in the longest “Whatever” segment of the season, and shut down the party with 50/50 lineups so jaw-dropping that four out of five dentists surveyed recommended a big wad of Trident to hold your mandible back in place.

Plus, 2V played everyone’s favorite new Twitter game, “Things You Can Say on a Fantasy Football Podcast or During Sex” and did it with a vigor not seen since Dirk Diggler’s heyday; Magsh got so worked up he had to edit out bad language (listen for the “Great Odin’s Raven!” drop) and told everyone to have fun on the bye; and Bo went under the hood and dove deep to deliver this year’s All-Busts team, sadly and inexplicably excluding Saquon Barkley, Shakira, and Salma Hayek.

With more people in the room than one of Caligula’s typical throwdowns (thanks to Skip and Scott for coming out) the trio dug deep into its collective bag of tricks to reproduce the magic they’ve been putting out since even before they dropped their Pants. Uno, get a box. Dos, cut a hole in the box. Tres, put your listening device in the box. And catorce, enjoy the Week Catorce edition of the Fantasy Football Party podcast!

That’s right, Los Fiesta del Futbol el Amigos Tres sacrificed their own Tuesday night plans for you, the listener, to bring you all the critical fantasy football news you crave to treat your fantasy team like a healthy slice of Grandma Dodo’s pecan pie and your league like your gaping yaw of a mouth.

Yes, your beloved Party-goers braved the weather and the triskaidekaphobia (Narrator: That’s fear of Week 13, if you don’t have your thesaurus handy) to bring you your weekly dose of immediate regrets (non-Sam Darnold version), rosters full of guys at least half of the general populous deems unworthy, and so much news our own Bo Burgundy had to call in Veronica Corningstone for reinforcements.

(Narrator: Was Tits McGee on vacation?)

Plus, Magsh peeled off the clown makeup to reveal his handcuff fetish involving backfields in motion; Bo backed up a backhoe to bury the Rams’ fantasy prospects while double-dipping Dallas in his 50/50 lineup; and 2V kept it dark with a couple of Imperial Stouts of varying vintage while double-wrapping his Darnold, getting wasted, and hooking him up… with Ryan Griffin and Robby Anderson. Get your mind out of the gutter.

In the times of Stonehenge thirteen was a number to be feared, but after digesting this week’s edition of the Fantasy Football Party podcast the only thing you’ll have to fear is fear itself. Fantasy football podcasts are cheaper by the dozen, but there’s no question you get more than your money’s worth when the Fantasy Football Party podcast drops anchor in Week 12 to float your collective boat with everything you need to treat your league like Rep. Eric Swalwell treats his tighty whiteys. Or boxers. We don’t judge.

They may have smelt it or they could have dealt it, but there’s no denying Tres Amigos los Futbol de Fiesta brought all of the funk to the Week 12 episode, diving headfirst into the deep end of your free agent pool without benefit of a lifejacket and ripping through all the pertinent news so fast only a skid mark roughly the size of Boba Marjonovic’s nose remains.

(Narrator: That’s two sentences, if you’re scoring at home. Or even if you’re by yourself.)

As with anything involving this trio there were regrets, plus actionable intel and lineups built from the dregs of NFL society (talent-wise, no reflection on any with upstanding moral fortitude) along with beer analysis augmented by a web site designed for that very purpose.

(Narrator: Try the Screen Shot Imperial Stout from Prairie Artisian Ales. Trust me.)

Plus, 2V spit mad rhymes—or at least “similarly situated”—while shoe-horning Elmer Tarbox into the conversation; Magsh momentarily set aside his forbidden love of aquatic mammals to pull off the rare Triple Brownie QB/K/DEF stack; and Bo wadded up his Jet regret and launched it into the sun as he went full Gang Green on his 50-50 lineup—setting the table for next week’s Turkey Hole Extravaganza regret a full seven days in advance.

Is it coincidence that there are 12 disciples, 12 donuts in a dozen, and 12 letters in the word “constipation”? Probably. But there’s no coincidence that your best bet for Week 12 success is jamming those Air Pods as far into your ear canal as they’ll go so as to extract all the succulent information that can be gleaned from this week’s edition of the Fantasy Football Party podcast as your hosts do everything within the constraints of good taste (Narrator: and frequently beyond) to brine your turkey hole for fantasy success.

The NFL, not unlike Spinal Tap’s top-of-the-line audio output, goes to 11. And then some, of course, but this week it stops just a few ear-splitting decibels north of 10 as fantasy footballers emerge from the 2019 Byepocalypse to see what condition their team’s condition is in.

And just like every stinkin’ week before this one, your beloved Tres Amigos de Fiesta Los Fantasia Futbol laid down sick beats to jam past the hammer, anvil, and stirrup and through the audio canal into your cerebral cortex like a Q-Tip gone horribly, horribly awry.

That means there were the usual regrets—with bonus non-regrets and pre-regrets to really capture the moment; enough news to bleed “60 Minutes” right into “Murder, She Wrote”, from load management to healthy scratches to what might constitute an unhealthy scratch; and 50/50 teams that have been working more than 60 percent of the time but not quite every time.

Plus, Bo double-dipped work with news and actionable analysis while matching his mood with a beverage much darker than usual; 2V double-dipped the barrel-aged beverages with double-digit ABV content, which thankfully led to more actionable analysis than usual; and Magsh double-dipped with the dolphins and the Dolphins, playing with one and playing the other—both with equal aplomb.

You will not find a podcast more jam-packed with relevance and irreverence, forward thinking and meandering sidetracks, fantasy football insight and stuff that bolds, underlines, and italicizes all three letters of “WTF?”. It was only fitting that as the Fantasy Football Party raged on into double-digit weeks, the show’s live studio audience crept steadily towards double digits as well—giving the Week 10 edition of the podcast a “filmed before a studio audience” not seen since the invention of the laugh track.

Feeding off the frenzied energy supplied by dueling fan club bases (Herman the German and some sort of combo retirement/bachelorette party), Tres Amigos de Futbol Fiesta brought down the house with a dazzling array of immediate regrets (thanks for nothing, Mitch Trubisky and every single Jet), relevant news (the short version: every quarterback you want is injured or on the bye), and 50/50 lineups scraped from the dregs of the NFL and churned into pure fantasy gold.

There were, of course, the usual forays off the beaten path, covering topics from the hopped and malted beverages the hosts were sampling to JL Beers’ delectable breakfast sandwiches to the legal restrictions with regard to trademarking words that already exist.

Plus, 2V headed to Indy to roster everyone who was in town to play the Dolphins (Narrator: the “you dumb ass” is implied, evidently); Magsh made up for lost time after ignoring Jacob Hollister prior to last week’s explosion; and Bo finally lived up to his earlier-season vow about kicking Corey Davis’ underachieving carcass to the curb—just in time to duck his impending four-touchdown game.

More beautiful than Bo Derek running down the beach in slow motion, more brazen than Jimmy G in a sideline interview, it’s the Week 10 edition of the Fantasy Football Party—always longer than you’d expect.

(That’s 400 centuries of fantasy football wisdom, brought down from the mountains by Bo who tells us: know your league’s trade deadline)

And grizzly ghouls from every tomb

Are closing in to share your doom

(No, it’s just Sam Darnold; he’s in town to play the Dolphins, you dumb ass!)

And though you fight to stay alive

Your body starts to shiver

(That’s just a natural reaction to the high ABV content of Hoppin Frog Toris the Tyrant, a splendid Russian Imperial Stout.)

For no mere mortal can resist

The evil of… Anthony Miller.

(Ha-Ha… Clinton-Dix. It’s his quarterback that elicits maniacal laughter.)

Week 9 presented Tres Amigos de Futbol la Fantasia Fiesta with an opportunity to get scary on Halloween Eve, and they took full advantage. In addition to the usual regrets (why did we leave 2V’s mic open when talking about Robert Kraft and Younghoe Koo?), bulletins from the Channel SKOR news desk, and a 50/50 lineup that 60 percent of the time works every time, tantric listeners (we hear Sting is a big fan) will learn:

Magsh built a horrifyingly Dolphin-stocked 50/50 lineup and once wore a Freddie Krueger shirt to Winter Park, scaring straight Paul Edinger’s kicking style;

Bo pre-regretted starting Lamar Jackson against the Patriots this week and dispensed costume advice guaranteed to make your Halloween party-going more functional and comfortable;

And 2V took a victory lap after nailing Dan Bailey as the NFL’s Special Teams Player of the Week before tossing back an Indeed Danzig, prompting him to break into “Mother” in his best Glenn Danzig voice randomly throughout the show.

Number 9? Number 9? Number 9? It’s a revolution of a podcast, one we like to call the Fantasy Football Party, and it’s perfect listening when you’re ignoring the doorbell while taking down all three bags of full-sized Snickers.

If there’s one thing the Fantasy Football Party podcast is known for, it’s the show’s staunch support of the morals and principles that guide this great land, such as honesty and integrity and freedom of speech.

If there’s two things the Fantasy Football Party podcast is known for, it’s all that stuff above and brilliant, insightful fantasy football analysis delivered in an engaging, witty manner over tasty adult beverages.

But lets focus on that first part for just a second. What if, during the course of events of a podcast, someone with questionably legitimate authority deleted from the record important conversations. Not “Watergate tapes” important or even “Ukrainian quid pro quo” important; more like “Kenny Stills is a great play WHEN Will Fuller gets hurt” or “Now that I’m done being Sticky let’s dive into a Belching Beaver” important.

(Narrator: In other words, not very important at all.)

Okay, we’ll leave the political correctness for the wonks and pundits. Well, except for tres Futbol Fiesta Fantasia amigos’ staunch refusal to identify the Washington football squad by its racist moniker.

While protests rage on in the halls of justice, your duly elected fantasy football representatives shared their personal regrets, dug deeply into all the relevant news, and even provided actionable intel during the “Whatever” segment 2V usually treats like the drum solo in “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida”.

Plus Magsh address the troublesome prospect of underage tabasco consumption; Bo presented so many reasons to watch “Monday Night Football” that Jason Witten retired to go back in the booth; and 2V basked in the glow of Marvin Jones’ four-score outing while educating the masses as to the wonder that is Cloyce Box.

No matter which side of the aisle you sit on, you’ll want to stay there as the rumbling bullet train that is the Fantasy Football Party podcast thunders through. Next stop: Week 8.

Living up to the longtime show motto, “Always Longer Than You Expect”, the Fantasy Football Party delivered at least a minute of bonus content in Week 7—largely because they had so much to tell you.

Moe Greene’s out at the Tropicana, my brothers Mike and Fredo have moved in, and that doesn’t even scratch the surface of the reams of news that threatened to crush Bo’s Channel SKOR news desk under the weight of thousands of dead trees.

But more than just news regurgitation, Tres Fiesta Futbol Fantasia Hombres speculated and analyzed, packaging everything you need to treat your league like FOX News treats facts into bite-sized digestible nuggets your brain will consume with a gusto not seen since Monday night’s officiating crew hit the cheese bar on Aaron Rodgers’ dime.

Of course, the podcast would not be complete without the usual shenanigans: Bo returning Jacoby Brissett to his rightful place on a 50/50 roster, an overly caffeinated Magsh smashing the sound drops, 2V providing actionable advice during the “Whatever” segment.

Wait, what? Oh yes, it’s true… though it came on the heels of a heated “Is chili soup?” debate.

Plus Magsh laid out a comprehensive plan for getting your hands on Chubb… and OBJ, too; 2V stacked the 49ers passing game and bemoaned missing out on Chase Edmonds; and Bo beat the rush to take a Duke—in this case, Williams, the Bills’ new starting wide receiver.

Putting the “world” in World Series and the “fest” in Oktoberfest, it’s the never-heard-before Week 7 edition of the Fantasy Football Party podcast, in living color and coiled like a mongoose ready to spring into your frontal lobe.
