This season is flying by as we’re already onto Week 4! With all the injuries already piling up, recording this on Thursday means there will be some news changes by the time you hear this (in particular, the Saints and Lions). But, we covered our bases when forecasting games with “if player X out, team B wins” and conditionals of the like. Let’s just hope the rest of this week isn’t as brutal as the Thursday night game.

We are back from vacation to preview Week 3 of the NFL Season. Unlike last week, every game this week projects to be fairly close, with no spreads greater than a touchdown at the time of recording. We've had a couple games to see positional units take shape, players/coaches show their true colors, and rosters thin out due to injury. With more context, we'll get a better idea of what to expect. After a disappointing TNF opener, we can actually start the opening week of Football now. We have a bevy of teams that underwent massive overhauls during the offseason, leaving us to do a lot of projecting for some of these matchups. We finish our division previews in the AFC West, the best division in the league. This division is going to be uber competitive and any team could realistically take the crown. These are all playoff-caliber teams, but it's going to be tough for all four to make it. Who will be the odd man out? Will it come down to a non-tie in the final week again?

We round out our divisional previews in the West, where we start in the NFC with a (mostly) stout division. Outside of the Seahawks, who we expect to be the punching bag of the league, this division should be competitive. However, a tough schedule may be the bane of Arizona, so which dominant front 7 will win out between LAR and SF?

Bless Sam Darnold's heart. Today we cover the NFC South, where every team besides the Bucs is a huge unknown. I expect the Falcons to suck, but Mozzy is more optimistic. As for the Saints and Panthers, they should flirt with "fringe playoff" caliber, but the head coaches need to do their part. Will these other teams push the Buccaneers, or will they cruise to another division title without much resistance?

Yeeehawww, on to the South we go! This episode brings us to the rootin' tootin' AFC South, where we should see some stark difference from last season. The basement dwellers of the division should be a bit more respectable, while last year's winner could be in for a tough year. If the Colts underwhelm expectations (again), this division could get interesting.
