The region with the best team in the country is surrounded by several worthwhile teams that can blow up the region. I give my thoughts on how you should proceed and how you should be thinking about this region in relation to the others.
My biggest question for this region is exactly when Purdue falls apart and loses a game as they will be favored in every matchup no matter how little confidence their play will inspire.
Going through the West region where UNC has what sets up as a favorable road to the Final Four as well as my thoughts on how Arizona should fare on the opposite side of the bracket.
My annual reminder to folks about the importance of understanding the parameters of your NCAA pool rules to build out optimal brackets. I also mention bets that stand out for the 1st round matchups.
What a wild week it has been in the NFL thus far with more dominoes to fall in NFL free agency. If you have friends who happen to be Bears fans and they tell you that they did not get fleeced by the Steelers you have an obligation to notify them otherwise.
As we head into March I begin to catch up on all the baseball news surrounding Spring Training and the current debacle surrounding the lack of available uniforms (yes you read that right) plus with the news of Jurgen Klopp leaving Liverpool at the end of the season (but not retiring mind you), I discuss the state of the Premier League with my father.
As my father and I go over the Superbowl debacle for the 49ers again we heard the news about "strong" leader Kyle Shanahan throwing Steve Wilks under the bus for the Superbowl loss.
No matter what Kyle Shanahan may say or what your friends who may be 49ers fans may believe they gave away that title to the Chiefs on top of not knowing the new overtime rules.
Let's just call this game for what it is: Can Kyle Shanahan avoid stumbling at the finish line yet again or will the Chiefs just find another way to get the job done? I will go through my thoughts about the game as well as how to approach a massive showdown slate to cap off another NFL season.
We cover quite a bit on today's show with the Knicks trade and why it matters more for next season than anything they do the rest of this year, the NFL writers botching the simplest assignment possible, and my thoughts on the best prop bets for the game on Sunday.
