We dive into the Midwest region where Houston looms as a heavy favorite to win the region if not the entire tournament. I give my thoughts on how each squad shapes up heading into Thursday.
I give some pointers to everyone heading into the tournament this year as to how they should be looking at each competition they may decide to enter. I will provide my region breakdowns in subsequent episodes.
Tonight I break down the fallout from the Daniel Jones contract and why he got the deal that he did while also analyzing why Lamar Jackson is facing so much resistance on his contract demands from the Ravens (and the NFL probably).
I break down the upcoming PPV and provide my thoughts on the return of Jon Jones to the UFC which is the main draw of this PPV by a mile.
That was one of the worst All-Star weekends in recent memory and while Mac McClung is a nice story it highlights the sheer lack of buzz surrounding the events themselves. I have a solution to fix All-Star Weekend and also provide a tournament format that should spark interest from the viewing public again.
I discuss the aftermath of the Superbowl including what did and did not surprise me (seriously did anyone bother to vet this turf beforehand?). Also, my father and I get into the NFL offseason hiring cycle and how dysfunctional it remains despite the league reminding teams how inept they are at it.
We are at Superbowl Sunday and I have a pretty clear lean on how I expect the game to play out. Based on the script I have in my mind I will be pretty heavy on the rushing game for the Eagles and hope that Reid, Bienemy, Mahomes and Kelce have one more rabbit to pull out of their hat.
The game is tomorrow and I break down which player props I am most interested in pursuing based on how I expect the game to play out in most scenarios. Obviously certain things can impact the outcome but I expect both teams to play towards their win conditions which makes it easier to break down which props make sense to take stands on.
I give my thoughts on the fights and which bets on the fight card have me most interested in pursuing. I do think there is an avenue for Volkanovski to win but it will be a tall order even if he fights a clean fight for the majority of the 25 allotted minutes.
I give my thoughts on a wild NBA trade deadline that has dramatically shifted the balance of power in the NBA and I give my thoughts on who should be favored to win it all at this point.
