Story Transcript:

Ar: في صباح يوم مشمس في شاطئ الإسكندرية، كان البحر هادئًا وممتعًا.
En: On a sunny morning at the Shati' al-Iskandariyah, the sea was calm and pleasant.

Ar: العائلات كانت تنتشر على الشاطئ تحت المظلات الملونة.
En: Families were scattered on the beach under colorful umbrellas.

Ar: الأطفال يلعبون ويبنون قلاع رملية على حافة الماء.
En: Children were playing and building sandcastles at the water's edge.

Ar: في هذا الجو المرح، كان فريد يقف على الشاطئ، يشعر ببعض الخجل بسبب لباسه القديم المثير للسخرية.
En: In this joyful atmosphere, Farid stood on the beach, feeling a bit embarrassed because of his old, ridiculous swimwear.

Ar: كان فريد يحب البحر، لكن لباس البحر الخاص به كان قديمًا ومضحكًا بعض الشيء.
En: Farid loved the sea, but his swimwear was old and somewhat funny.

Ar: حاول أن يتجنب لفت الانتباه، لكن عندما أُبعد العوامة البراقة التي على شكل فلامينجو بفعل الرياح، بدأت تشعر بالقلق.
En: He tried to avoid drawing attention, but when the flamingo-shaped, shiny inflatable was carried away by the wind, he began to worry.

Ar: كان فريد يتطلع إلى العوامة وهي تبتعد بسرعة في الماء.
En: Farid watched as the inflatable drifted quickly into the water.

Ar: كانت ليلى وعمير، أصدقاء فريد، جالسين قربه يضحكون ويصورون الموقف بكاميراتهم.
En: Layla and Ameer, Farid's friends, were sitting nearby, laughing and filming the situation with their cameras.

Ar: وقف فريد مترددًا، هل يذهب وراء العوامة أم ينتظرها حتى تعود إليه؟
En: Farid stood hesitantly, wondering whether to go after the inflatable or wait for it to return to him.

Ar: لكن عندما رأى أن العوامة تقترب من الخروج إلى البحر المفتوح، قرر فريد أن يتغلب على خجله ويدخل الماء لاسترجاعها.
En: But when he saw that the inflatable was nearing the open sea, Farid decided to overcome his shyness and enter the water to retrieve it.

Ar: بدأ يمشي عبر الأمواج، مبتسمًا رغم الإحراج، ويسمع ضحكات الناس حوله.
En: He began walking through the waves, smiling despite the embarrassment, hearing the laughter around him.

Ar: المياه كانت دافئة ولكن أفكاره كانت تركز فقط على العوامة.
En: The water was warm, but his thoughts were focused solely on the inflatable.

Ar: استجمع شجاعته، وسبح بجد حتى وصل إلى العوامة، وقبض عليها بإحكام قبل أن تتجاوز متناول يديه.
En: He gathered his courage and swam hard until he reached the inflatable, grabbing it tightly before it moved out of his reach.

Ar: عاد فريد إلى الشاطئ، مرهقًا ولكنه مبتسمًا.
En: Farid returned to the beach, exhausted but smiling.

Ar: عندما خرج من الماء، صفق الجميع، بما فيهم ليلى وعمير، الذين كانوا يضحكون ويهنئونه.
En: When he emerged from the water, everyone applauded, including Layla and Ameer, who were laughing and congratulating him.
