At approximately 4:12 p.m. on March 11, 2026, crews with the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) and the Prescott Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 7800 block of E. Manley Drive in Prescott Valley. Investigators determined the fire began when weeds were being burned on a no-burn day. The fire spread from the burning weeds to nearby bushes, then to the home, quickly extending into the attic. Wind played a significant role, helping the fire spread and fueling the flames once the structure became involved. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire to the building...
