  • To the Angel of the Church in Thyatira
In Revelation 2:18–29, Christ speaks to the church at Thyatira, a congregation surrounded by cultural pressure, idolatry, and moral compromise. Jesus commends their love, faith, service, perseverance, and growing obedience, yet He sharply rebukes them for tolerating false teaching and sinful compromise within the church. Through the example of Jezebel, Christ warns His people that biblical love must be joined with biblical discernment, and that His church must never sacrifice truth for the sake of acceptance or worldly comfort. Yet to those who remain faithful, Christ commands, "Hold fast what you have until I come," promising that those who overcome will share in His victorious reign and receive the morning star. The morning star is Christ Himself, reminding us that the greatest reward of heaven is not merely what Christ gives us, but Christ Himself. This message calls every believer to reject compromise, hold firmly to God's Word, pursue holiness, love Christ and His church, and remain faithful until our victorious Savior comes again.

  • Them that Honour Me I will Honour
The sermon contrasts the spiritual states of honoring God with despising Him, using the biblical figures of Hannah and Samuel as examples of reverence and Eli's sons Hophni and Phinehas as examples of contempt. Ultimately, the message encourages believers to hold fast to their faith amidst worldly pressures, trusting in God's promise to honor those who respect Him.

  • Three Witnesses, One Message
Closing Thought: Three witnesses stand before us: the water, the blood, and the Spirit. Each points to the same truth: Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who came to save His people from their sins. Beloved, when doubts come or the world challenges your faith, remember that God's testimony has not changed. The message is consistent, the witnesses agree, and Christ remains the same. Believe God, rest in His Son, and encourage one another to hold fast to Him. NOTE: A suspected lightning strike from the previous night's storm knocled out the transformer to our church. So, with minimal power and no air conditioning, the church carried on. The noise you hear in the background is a large fan.

  • The Antioch Christian Fellowship
The sermon explores the spiritual contrasts between worldly pride and divine sovereignty, using Herod's judgment and the church at Antioch as primary examples. It emphasizes that true power resides in God alone, contrasting Herod's self-exaltation with the humble, fasting-dependent ministry of Barnabas and Saul. The preacher highlights how prayer and fasting serve as vital tools for discerning God's will and engaging in spiritual warfare. By examining the transition from Peter's deliverance to the commissioning of missionaries, the message underscores the urgency of global evangelism. Ultimately, the congregation is challenged to adopt a missional mindset, relying on the Holy Spirit rather than human strength to fulfill God's purposes.
