Episode #68 In this Fasting Q&A; episode, Terri and Nadia answer your fasting questions: 1. If fruit tea is "herbal", such as mango-passionfruit herbal tea, will it break a fast? Will the sweet flavors alone spike insulin and break a fast? [02:38] 2. I am working on improving my food choices. To be fair, I make healthy choices when I go to the grocery store and when I make food. The problem is that I have a habit of having a “treat” or reward after a meal or whenever I am struggling or when I want to celebrate something. I think these are keeping me from making progress. [07:38] 3. During the holidays, I have gained 13lbs back. I have been trying to get back to IF and it’s been very difficult. I think I am now menopausal as I haven’t had a period or spotting for almost one year. I’m wondering if that’s playing a role here? [13:04]  4. I am getting close to my goal weight. What I don’t understand is why as I get close, I seem to self-sabotage. Why would I do this? It is so frustrating that I am the only thing getting in my way. What should I do? [21:19]  5. I am 51 and have been in menopause for 2 and a half years now. I recently started fasting and I got my period last month. Is this from fasting? Can fasting reverse menopause?
