Update on 12/18/2025 – The Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol has identified the individual killed in a Dec. 16 crash on U.S. 181 between Floresville and Poth as Darryl Royce Brown, 75, of Floresville. For more on the crash, see the Dec. 24 Wilson County News.
