While Nyx spirals with entirely reasonable concern, Doctor Plop and High Inquisitor Seraph Thrynn are, naturally, drafted into emotional support duty — which is to say, the party pauses just long enough for a deeply cursed therapy session before hurling themselves back into the abyss.

Meanwhile, Zelphira and Reginold deliver the blood to Karina and uncover the truth:

she is attempting the impossible.

A ritual never before completed.
A binding for Oathrender.
An act of magical hubris so severe it can only be described as either brilliant, catastrophic, or both.
