This talk was given by Father Ed at the 2019 Charismatic Renewal Conference. It outlines how we can enjoy healing of soul wounds that can cause addiction and distress in our lives.

God is trying to tell you something, and his message is Everlasting Love.

Jesus cautioned his followers not to exalt themselves as they might be humiliated by others, but he promised them that if they humbled themselves, God would exalt them.

It is evident in the Old Testament that people were afraid of God. In today's gospel, Jesus tells the disciples, "You don't have to be afraid anymore." Join Father Ed as he shares the joy of not being afraid of God.

In the story of Mary and Marth, most people I ask identify more with Martha, who was busy taking care of the dinner party. Mary simply sat at Jesus' feet and listened to his words. Jesus said that Mary had chosen the better part, but our lives are more like Martha's. How do we live as Mary in a Martha world?

We are all so familiar with the story of the Good Samaritan. But how do we practically put it into practice in today's world? Join Father Ed as he opens this parable to today's hearers.
