Separation from the world is not high on the list of objectives for third millennium Christians. Just the opposite.

It might be said that there are two kinds of Christians in the world--bumper sticker Christians and character Christians.

Christians in all times have found this a particularly odious command. Many today manufacture a variety of justifications why in this or that case Christians are not obligated to heed the strict letter of its requirement.
