Presenter: Asahel Adams
God has called fathers to express His love to those in their care. But we must stop hiding our insufficiencies and substituting heroic gestures for daily faithfulness. We must choose to be fathered and trained.
Why are people universally hesitant to give love? Love requires humility—both to give and to receive. To love is to be vulnerable, to risk that what we offer may be unrequited. But Jesus taught that “it is more blessed to give than to receive.” The expression of the agape love that comes down to us from the Fatherhood of God is its own reward.
