The late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., in his famous speech stated, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” His attention was not on the surface level but on what was within.
This desire of Dr. King, is similar to the desire we should have of ourselves as dads. We should not be ok parading around, reminding our children that we are their dads, and that alone demands their love and respect of us. We should desire to make a lasting impact on our children by being men that they desire to be in a relationship with.
