Coach Bill Courtney is a man of faith who understands the trauma that rampant fatherlessness is causing in many of our inner cities.

Coach Courtney didn't have relationship with his father, and that helped him relate to the fatherless football players he coached as a volunteer in Memphis' inner-city (as seen in the Oscar-winning documentary- Undefeated).

Coach Courtney is the founder of An Army of Normal Folks, and the host of a podcast with the same name – where he serves, works with, talks about, and shares stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

Coach has been married to his wife Lisa for over 30 years, and they have 4 children.
