What did you love best about Father's Day?
This was such fun from the first scene of the Lab snuggled up with the Mom in a back yard blanket tent! The 10 yr old boy has such great lines that it makes you smile or bark a laugh out loud. THIS is such a special heartwarming story that I have not gotten to enjoy in such a long time.
What other book might you compare Father's Day to and why?
Jill Shalvis's "Rumor has it" comes as close to this wonderful story, and I didn't think I would get another listen that has nothing but deep smiles. This story makes your heart feel full. Every person would want a mom like this heroine, and Angela made this heroine come to life.
What about Angela Dawes performance did you like?
I am a huge fan of Ms Dawe, but she has out done herself on this one. She had a special fast pace when the 10 yr old boy spoke that she captured the essences and tenderness the author wanted to convey. This is so rare in a good read!
If you could take any character from Father's Day out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Jeff's young innocences and freshness was so heartwarming right from page 1 that he makes you believe in young America
Any additional comments?
Audible, please pare more of this author's stories with Angela reading them. I have the four stories and they bring a big smile
