In Matthew 11: 28-30, the Lord Jesus invites us to come to Him and drop all labor, striving, toil and burden at His feet, promising to give us rest. He is our Lord, our Sabbath! We rest in Him.

Paul, in Philipians, reminds of yet again of what Christ has done for us. He has redeemed us and brought us to God. We are the circumcision, the Israel of God. He urges to beware of those who would try to convince us otherwise. We boast in Christ!

The loving kindness of the Lord, is our confidence. We exult and rejoice in His steadfast love towards us. We rejoice in Christ!

We should rejoice in the goodness of our God. His mercy endures forever and is revealed to us in Christ. Psalm 107 is a blessing to us.

The New Man in Christ is the work of God - a new, regenerated man in Christ. We don't "live in this world" and live in the reality of our union with Christ.
