But sanctification doesn’t mean you instantly become perfect.Sometimes there are still areas of our lives that feel like a “thorn in the flesh.” So what is God’s responsibility in our sanctification—and what is ours?

What if being offended by Jesus is exactly what you need?

Genuine Christianity isn’t always comfortable. Jesus said things that challenged people, confronted sin, and caused many to walk away—including in John 6.

The Gospel is offensive because it confronts our pride, our desires, our comfort, and our idea of how life should go. But Jesus never promised us the easy path. He called us to the narrow path.

The question is: Will you reject the truth because it offends you, or will you allow the truth to transform you?
