What do you want Jesus to do for you? This question, posed by Jesus, to two blind men, is actually an invitation to ASK and to FOLLOW.

What did Jesus come to do? And maybe the more important question: why did he come to do it? Sometimes it seems like it MAKES NO SENSE. But as we dig a little deeper, it’s the most important thing in all the world!

Whether it’s the 3rd, 6th, 9th, or even the 11th hour…Jesus is in relentless pursuit of you! What do you need to lay at his feet? What do you need to confess? Where do you need him to flood your soul with gratitude? The last will be first, and the first last.

What are you investing in? Are you living for FALSE RICHES or TRUE RICHES? What if I told you the Rich Young Man was rich in more ways than one?

This is the God who we love and serve. To us in our brokenness, he says come. To us in our sinfulness, he says come. To us in our guilt and our shame, he says come. Where the IDEAL is lacking…GRACE ABOUNDS!

If God has given you the temporary gift of singleness, with all of its awesomeness and difficulties, Jesus wants us to make room for it by learning more about who God is, by leveraging your time in this season and not wasting it, and by leaning into your church family.

After Jesus talks about the wandering Christian, and the restoring Christian, he gives the way to restore a wandering brother who sins against us…and that is seen in the forgiver.

How are we called to handle a wandering believer? By privately, patiently, and publicly, pleading for them to return. And when we do that, God shows up! Maybe not in the way we want or expect him to, but he DOES show up!

Not only is Jesus’ love for the one lost sheep good news for that lost sheep, it’s good news for ALL the sheep! There are no strings attached, no qualifications…Jesus just simply LOVES US and VALUES US!

What is our response to temptation? It really all depends on how serious we take our sin. What sin and temptations do you need to cut out of your life today? And, in what areas can you build up in order to help you stay focused on the good things God has for you?
