Chicago-rooted Fathom DJ presents Sonic Revival, a weekly Friday event re-emphasizing the importance of Chicago house music and the duty of Chicago DJs as tastemakers for the culture. The series will be hosted every Friday, kicking off tonight at Porkchop BBQ in Wicker Park. Vocalo’s Jesse De La Peña caught up with Fathom DJ following her return to the Windy City. The two discussed the music cultures of Atlanta, Chicago and D.C., and her hopes for Sonic Revival.
