This episode is basically the narration of an article I wrote for New Routes Magazine. I go over some of the main contributions from psychology and neuroscience over the last centuries and what that all means for teachers in the classroom. I talk about social interactionism, constructivism, humanism, behaviorism, as well as the role of emotions and motivation for learning. I mention the works of authors such as Vygotsky, Skinner, Montessori, Freire, Maslow, Dweck, Deci & Ryan, and many more. This is a summary of what we know about learning. It's comprehensive but we can always add new contributions and challenge some. What's your take on it? I'd love to know. Don't forget to follow edcrocks.com!
