Bryan Fischer with the Life and Liberty Minute. Dr. Anthony Fauci, in his role as head of the infectious diseases bureaucracy in the federal government, gave seven point six million dollars in grants to the Wuhan lab that gave us the coronavirus. He funded research that was designed to take bat viruses which were not transmissible to humans and genetically engineer them until they could infect humans beings. The stated purpose was to create a virus they could study so they could stop it. This research was so obviously risky that Barack Obama terminated it in 2014, and 200 prominent scientists published a statement condemning it as too dangerous because of the possibility the pathogen could accidentally escape and start a global pandemic. Our intelligence services now believe the pandemic was started by a bat virus that escaped from the Wuhan lab.
