We need to live by grace, and grace comes through the gospel. We must continually return to the gospel so that we can continually live by grace.

God’s plan is to bless all nations by saving people from all nations, and he will accomplish his plan. When we are saved, we become part of God’s plan, therefore we are called to do what we can to make disciples from all nations and be part of what he is doing.

We are responsible to hear, learn, and teach God’s truth and ways so that we would learn to walk with God, honoring him and benefitting/blessing us. We must continually focus on who God is and what our response to him should be, making following him and helping others follow him (being a disciple and making disciples) the center and purpose of our lives.

Our wealth so easily leads to pride, arrogance, and a false sense of security and fulfillment. Yet God is the one who gives us all things, and the way we use our wealth reflects our relationship with him. Our wealth is a temporary trust from God, given to us so that we would do good with it, generously giving and sharing as we live in light of eternity.

Everyone one of us is called to pray consistently for others, as our prayers play an indispensable role in one another’s spiritual growth. We need to be praying God’s blessings upon each other and giving thanks for one another.

What we need more than anything is to follow God in Christ with delight, so we need God to teach us, give us understanding, and make us walk in his commandments. Our hearts naturally lead us away from God, so we need to be continually established and revived by God, which he does for us through his Word.

We don’t have to fear evil because God is our light and salvation.The light of salvation is found in God’s presence, which we must intensely desire and seek through worship, prayer, and walking in the light of his ways.The light of God’s peace is always worth pursuing, and we will experience it through faith.

If we accept the meaning of Christ, Christ as our Savior, we will no longer need to fear, but can experience the joy of salvation that God gives us.

Jesus, the God-Man, has to come to save us, we who can’t save ourselves. Jesus saves us through his vulnerability and powerlessness, becoming the embodiment of God’s covenant with us and bringing us joy, comfort, and compassion.

As we humble ourselves and cry out to God, He is faithful to answer. We may be delivered this side of heaven, or remain in the pain/hardship throughout our life, but one day, we will be with God in heaven where our praise of Him will be filled with thanksgiving for everything He has done through His Son Jesus.
