The whole Armor of God is what we need to be able to withstand the schemes of the devil but we also all need armor bearers who will come along beside us and help us to grow and continue the fight.

With the helmet of salvation we guard our heads. We guard them by believing and thinking right things.

With our faith grounded in Jesus Christ, we take up the shield of faith and guard ourselves against the fiery darts of satan. With our shield, we extinguish ALL the darts of the enemy.

In order to put on the whole armor of God we must fit our feet with the shoes of Gospel readiness. For the Christian, there are only two types of shoes; GO shoes or NO shoes.

Jesus Gathers us Together! We are his sheep and He is our shepherd.

The breastplate of righteousness protects our hearts, without the imputed righteousness of Jesus and the practical righteousness of right living we will be fatally wounded.

Without the firm foundation of the belt of truth, we will never truly be suited up and we will never be able to withstand the fiery arrows of the devil.

Before we put on the armor of God, we need to know why we are commanded to put it on. We need to know we need the strength of the Lord, we need to know our enemy, and we need to stand firm.
