 With Christ’ return as the culminating act of the last days, the watchful word of every disciple is “expectancy.”

In these days of great tribulation and deception, our preoccupation is to be upon a greater mission.

With, seemingly, every catastrophic event in history, whether a natural disaster, terrorist act, economic crisis, or political upheaval, the question arises, “Do you think we are in the last days?”

Both past and recent history reveals the tyrannical extremes humankind will pursue to sit upon a throne.

While no job can really be considered recession proof, the call of Christ can offer a recession proof vocation.

Whether Christmas is embraced as a sentimental holiday or a commemorative observance of the significant event in human history becomes evident in whether or not it is applied to real life.

How much latitude do you have in your Christmas plans for changes? How much room do you have in your faith for the unexpected? Only by expecting the unexpected can you truly appreciate God’s love.

To be joyful is difficult only if you look to the offerings of this world as the basis for your joy.
