We have a call to be sharing the Good News with the world. To be ready to lead others to Jesus who come to us, and to be ready to share Christ with those whom God leads to us is a purpose for our lives. Today we revisit Joseph's life. We heard from him in November when he accepted Mary and her baby as being from God. Today we look at the hardship of birth and the escape to Egypt. On this the Fourth Sunday of Advent we look at Peace. This is the peace of Christ. It is a peace that is there whether we are in crisis or not. God's peace surpasses our understanding, and is a peace that only God can give, one not like this world can give (which understands peace as an absence of problems, whereas peace form God is in spite of problems).
