This week is a little bit different as we recap and talk about our annual DNow weekend for our students. We hear from some of our students and have a sermon discussing the main themes and topics of community that we talked about over the weekend.

Without faith and community, it is not possible to get through the inevitability of life's afflictions.

We see how these are the signs of a person living out their Christianity, what they are, and how to display them. In doing so we see what it means to be standing firm in faith, hope, and love.

In our last week of the Advent season, we discuss the idea of Joy. Typically, love is the last week of Advent. However, we choose to discuss joy as there is now a culmination of joy with the coming of Christ. We do a deep dive into what joy is, how it is obtained, and how it is expressed. Now that Jesus has come, he has brought Joy to the World.

In this week's sermon we look at love in the third week of Advent. We see how this is God's gift and the necessity of God's love to receive said gift of grace.
