Names are extremely important... and the name of our Youth Ministry has lasted nearly 20 years for a reason! As we consider the name of our ministry along with the transitions we are in the midst of, let's move forward and shine our light faithfully.

Loving the lost requires that you love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength... and loving the Lord must be rooted in the truth of how much God loves you. "We love him, because he first loved us (1 Jn. 4:19)." Once all these things are in order we will be able to lead the lost to the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

This last part of this lesson dives into the truth of when you walk with the Lord you will receive more of his heart. We need to love God and have his heart if we are ever going to love the lost the proper way.

We must become proficient in giving the gospel. The only way to get better at it is to do it!

This is part 2 of the previous message... Loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength is so critical to our Christian walk! If we do not love God we will not serve him and glorify him as he deserves. It really is the key to our ability to evangelize properly.

Loving the Lord our God is the first and greatest commandment (Matt. 22:37-38), so it should be of no surprise that it will fuel our service for the Lord. When we forget to love the Lord our service will fizzle and fail over time. We end up serving out of duty rather than delight. We need reminded of this important truth.
