What are the differences between what is expected teenage angst and hormones vs. something clinical, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, etc.? Teens are dealing with their own life stressors; academics, extra-curricular activities, jobs, future plans, self-image, relationships, bullying, sexual pressure, developing independence while still being dependent, hormones, fear of failure, body changes, and brain development. What are realistic expectations I can have of my teen and how can parents help them navigate their life stress?
