This Sunday, we heard from Next Steps Pastor, Erik Wilkins, as he taught from the first chapter of the book of Titus. This epistle was written to Titus so that he could share it with the Cretan churches. This letter reminds believers to submit to authorities, to remember how they used to be and what had changed them, and remind them of what they are to do now based on what they have come to know.

Why is physical evidence of God not enough to save us?

This Sunday, on the fourth week of advent, we looked at Luke chapter 24. As we prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ, we discuss how Christ reveals the truth to His people.

Why is there so much sin and death?

Because we are like Adam. Which is why we must have a better Adam, Christ! This Sunday, as we continued in our Gospel Basics series through the book of Romans, we gain a better understanding of how Jesus has conquered sin and death. Christ, the better Adam super-abounds over sin and death.

Have peace with God, or no peace at all.

With the holidays quickly approaching, we need peace now more than ever. Todays sermon discusses the only way to have peace is through Christ. Christ makes peace with God for us and now all there's left to do is enjoy that peace.

This Sunday, we continued our series through Romans on the promise of faith. We discussed the promise that Abraham's offspring would be heirs of the world, and that the promise is for us as heirs of Abraham and believers in Christ. We grow stronger in our faith because of this promise.

Faith saves, but you have to have the right faith.

In today's sermon, as we continue in the book of Romans, we will discuss the true definition of faith and what it means to live by your faith. True faith is very specific and it will affect how we live.

Salvation is free, but not like you think...

This Sunday, we continued in our Gospel Basics series through the book of Romans on the topic of salvation. Salvation belongs to God and He gives it to man. In light of salvation, we should live in humility and obedience.

This Sunday's sermon explains the heavy weight of sin in our lives. None are righteous and nothing we do is considered right. This hard truth leads us to repentance and the good news of Christs' finished work on the cross.

This week, as we continued in our Gospel Basics series through the book of Romans, we saw how God's righteousness always prevails. We simply can't do without the righteousness of God that prevails through and over people. The unbelieving, unrighteous, and untruthful will experience the wrath of God. Through Christ we are made right.

This week we finished up Romans 2 as we continued in our sermon titled "God Does Not Play Favorites" as a part of our Gospel Basics series. In this chapter, we learned that there is much goodness in the law of God. The law cannot make us good, but God makes us good through Christ and because of that, we carry out the law of Christ.
