In this weeks sermon, Pastor Peter sets up the book of Galatians with important information to give us a better context of what we are about to study through.

We are to be holy because the Spirit of God lives inside of us.

Many religions and denominations demand proof of the spirit through miraculous signs, but what are other ways we can see the proof of the holy spirit in our lives?  We need to understand that the proof of the Holy Spirit is found in the Spiritual Gifts he gives as well as the fruit he develops.

The Holy Spirit is more than a feeling that makes us raise our hands in worship.  He is a person who leads us and intercedes on our behalf in times of weakness, and brings us back to a place of brokenness before a Holy Father.

Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit but allow Him to help us illuminate God’s word and walk with us as we pursue sanctification through truth.

We tend to think of the Holy Spirit more of a what than a who.  This week we will take time to define who the Holy Spirit is in relation to the other two members of the Trinity.

As we wrap up the Family Tree series we take a look at what it looks like to be a part of the family of God.
