Area churches gathered at First Baptist North to share in worship together. Dr. McFarland shared his vision for revival in the city of Terre Haute as well as in our nation.

Rev. Wilson was our guest speaker for our Centennial Celebration! He explained that we are all marked by the people around us, and he encouraged us to leave a positive mark on those we come in contact with.

Bill and Becky Petite, our missionary partners in Japan, visited First Baptist North to update us on their ministry. Bill shared an encouraging message from God's Word about not trusting in our faith but rather the object of our faith.

From the beginning of time, our sin and self-reliance has only brought bondage. When Jesus came, he took the curse of sin upon himself to bring us freedom! Are we still living in that curse, or are we experiencing the freedom of Christ?

In the 3rd chapter of Galatians, Paul warns the church about relying on their ability to obey the law to give them salvation. He explains that God works in them because they believe in the message of Christ. Are we trusting in the power of God's Holy Spirit, or are we relying on our own list of accomplishments?

When the Pharisees asked Jesus when the kingdom of God would come, he told them that the kingdom was already among them. What did he mean by that, and what does it mean for us today?
