Faith is such an important, yet somewhat vague concept. We are often told to have faith, but what does that mean?

Everyone believes themselves to be the hero of their own story, even when they truthfully are not. However, there is a true hope, and a true hero that we can depend on.

Hypocrisy is often repelling, particularly when it takes place in the Church. How can we identify inconsistency between our life and faith, and what steps can we take to represent our beliefs more faithfully?

Christians are sometimes accused of being self-righteous.  Is this true, and if so, why is that?  Maybe more importantly, what can we do to change?

Christianity is sometimes accused of being a judgmental religion, and there may at times be truth behind this.

Justice and judgment are something that a stable society relies on. Someone has to uphold the law. The same is true on a spiritual level. Justice demands the evil be punished. There is a judge, but we might be surprised by the nature of both his judgment and his leniency. 

What do you talk about most?  The weather?  Your favorite team?  The news?  How much of our conversation is spent adding value to people's lives versus adding to the negativity around us?  Everyone could stand to hear more good news today.

1 truly is the loneliest number.  People were made to be in relationship with one another.  Study after study illustrates how community improves our physical, mental, and emotional health.  Our spiritual well-being is no different.  We need community.
