This episode explores John 6 and Jesus' teaching on being "The bread of life." After another sign, we see desire of those who followed Jesus for power and control. But we learn that Jesus was willing to decimate the popularity and population of his own movement in order to keep it from being centered around power. Instead, he intentionally shaped the church around sacrificial love.
In this episode we look at the John 4, The story of the Woman at the Well. This message breaks down this story and the various dynamics happening in that famous scene, and ultimately reminds us of this point: Jesus is the Messiah not just for Israel, but for the world. And what Jesus offers the woman at the well is the same thing he offers us: himself.
