Approaching the important subject of our identity in Christ can be both uplifting and challenging as we look to correctly understand how it applies to us in living the Christian life. Orthodoxy and orthopraxy might seem like big words that are beyond simple understanding or comprehension. And yet they simply illustrate the need for the Christian to both know what God's word says and also how to apply it in daily living. As we examine Ephesians starting in chapter 4, we see that Paul now moves towards the practical application of the previous chapters and calls us to walk out our faith in accordance with what we have learned concerning what God has done for us and His promises for the future.
