We are children of God as believers. What a great comfort it should be to us. Christ has won the victory already. So why should we live in sin? We cannot live in sin and call ourselves Christians. Pastor Paul endeavors to show the clear distinction made by the apostle John in this passage between the true Christian and the person who claims true belief but their life is not a testimony of God's grace working in their hearts.
