In this solo episode of Faith and The Revolution, I share my sentiments on what the 4th of July means to me (in case you can't already tell by the episode title). I invoke Frederick Douglass' 1852 speech "What, to the Slave, is the Fourth of July?" and tell the quick and easy-to-follow story of how this nation came to be.
