Welcome to the second week of Drunken Fables, where your host shares fairy tales and myths after having one too many. This week, we welcome back Vy, who was excited to tune in to Titania telling three stories about alcohol from the Brother's Grimm. Well, kind of about alcohol. This one is a wild ride with a hard left in the middle. We hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed creating this episode! Tune in next week for Enkidu's drunken tale.
How best to tell the story of Dionysus than by being drunk off of wine? Join Enkidu as she does just that!
Starting off our tragic love month, Titania takes us through the story behind the longest-running musical on Broadway. Or, at least she tries to. Enkidu's hatred for Phantom and Titania's love of Phantom continue to clash and boil down into a discussion of the history of ballet, their shared love of theatre, and experiences in choir. Yes, we definitely did not stay on track.
However, we plan to pick up the discussion again next week and actually try to remain focused on the topic. There's just so much to unpack in this story, but I hope you enjoy it. Now, on to the show! Duuuuuuuuuun! Dun Dun Dun Dun Duuuuuun!
Here to tell you another tale of Grimm is Titania telling the story of the Robber Bridegroom. Only one more week for Wedding month.
Today we travel back to ancient Greece and hear a story most of us only know the ending of. It's full of titans, gods, marriage, horrible gifts, and a surprising lack of Hera. This cautionary tale is turned on its side as we hear the full story of Pandora and her mysterious box
Welcome to season two of F*cked Up Fables! We are happy to start this year off with a rather strange tale of a princess and how she escapes a forced incestuous marriage to climb her way back to prosperity. Welcome to 2021!
In the last our of Horrible Holiday specials, Enkidu gives us a story from Norse mythology that shows us the true power of mistletoe. There is no Hera this time, but don't worry, she makes up for it with another tricky God and brings us all the warm feelings we love! Curl up with some spiked hot chocolate and join us on this 'wintery tale!
Our month of Horrible Holidays continues with Vy, who brings us the story of Krampus. So grab your hot chocolate and warp yourself in a warm blanket to stave off the chills of this creepy holiday figure. And remember, never lose the spirit of Christmas.
Welcome to Horrible Holidays months! Kicking off this theme is Titania with the horrible history of Santa. Yes, there is cannablism.
Join us as Vy tells the real story of Snow White. It's far more terrible than you can imagine.
