Hey all…first things first.  This week, we’re gathering at Sam’s Place.   It’s Fringe, so we’ve been displaced at Pantages for the next two weeks.

Talky Bit – well, last week our Community Time expanded to occupy most of the gathering. There was a lot going on in people’s lives, and we needed to spend time hearing from one another and praying together. So that’s what we did. I’m so glad to be part of a gathering where things can ebb and flow along with life events, and where we have the freedom to speak with, listen to, and extend care to one another, without worrying about “the program”. Even when the things we need to be made aware of are difficult matters, the gift of being able to share our lives with one another is a good one.

As far as the Talky Bit goes, I’ll come prepared to have another go at starting an exploration of the general topic of “fear”, and we’ll take it from there. I’m looking forward to our time together.
