So many of y’all get stuck with the online part of your practice. And I get it, that part can feel like a zoo with so many distractions, twists and turns.
On this week’s episode of the Fearless Practitioners podcast, I sit down with my guest Whitney Bateson, dietitian-turned-digital marketer who works with health and wellness professionals to grow their business.
Join us to hear Whitney’s journey of being a dietitian first, but realizing her passion was in design and digital technology. Combining the mix of marketing, technology and health messaging, Whitney’s “secret sauce” is to help healthcare professionals (like you!) fulfill their mission to help people be healthy.
Get ready to take notes as Whitney shares her expertise and tips for private practice owners to streamline your focus and build a clear strategy for long-term success!
ABOUT WHITNEY BATESONWhitney is a dietitian-turned-digital marketer, on a mission to help dietitians connect with their customers and grow their businesses. Her passion for applying design, communication, and marketing to dietetics stems from her work in the school nutrition industry, where she saw firsthand the impact these elements can have on increased audience engagement. With the unique ability to distill complex technical information into informative, fun-to-talk-about (seriously!) insights, Whitney helps other dietitians harness the power of design and technology to confidently pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Formerly based in Washington, DC, Whitney now travels the world as a digital nomad and supports her clients from cafes, workspaces, and beanbags globally.

What if I told you that you could double, triple, or, shoot, quadruple your referrals? Before you roll your eyes, keep reading!
You can do this by building authentic relationships and rapport with those you meet! And yes, there is a catch...you need to follow a proven system. But what better system to learn from than one that is already successful?
In this week’s show, I chat with Dan Caldwell, who has taken his proven marketing track record and system for a treatment center into his private practice.
Do I have your attention yet?
In this episode, we’re going to talk all about how he did this, what is working now that he is in private practice, and a few key nuggets you can start doing today.

Over the holidays and into the beginning of this year, I read Jessica Honegger’s book, Imperfect Courage.
Jessica is the Founder and Co-CEO of Noonday Collection and an Austin-based entrepreneur I really admire for using business as a force for good. Many of her points resonated with me and I want to spend today's episode talking about ways we can build courage over fear in our practices.
That’s why this podcast is called FEARLESS Practitioners, and it’s all about empowering you to take the fear out of the unknown with building a practice, and truly following your dreams.
This episode gives you solutions on how to make peace with fear, and to have a practical plan when starting your private practice. Today is about having the courage to tell fear to suck it because it’s YOUR TIME!

Shoot, if you never even had a clinical job, that compliance stuff never seemed that big of a deal, and no one talked about it in a private practice. So like most things that are not sexy, we forget about it.
Listen up y’all - this stuff is VITAL to your practice! Please take some notes today and check in on the health of your practice, or better yet join the workshop. 😉

I’m delighted to have Amanda Kirpitch of Nutrition Perspectives on this episode of the Fearless Practitioners Podcast. As a member of the Fearless Practitioners Boss Club, I’ve had the pleasure of watching Amanda make use of everything the Boss Club has to offer, and rock it in her practice!
As a dietitian for 17 years, Amanda shares how she started in pediatrics, and then transitioned to adults and niched down to diabetes and eating disorders. Tired of the long commute and struggling with work-life balance, she took the scary but necessary leap we all take, and realized her vision of starting a private practice just one year ago.
We discuss her common experience of not feeling totally ready, but how she trusted her gut and knew she didn’t need to have it all figured out, and that it’s okay to learn as she goes. Can any of us ever be totally prepared?
Sharing your struggles and goals helps make your dreams you’re trying to build a reality. Amanada Kirpitch

Can I get a high-five to all my morning people?! I can just feel the non-morning people rolling their eyes, and yet there is a group of y’all who I might have missed - those who want a routine and just have not found one that works yet.
As you can guess, I LOVE my morning routine and pretty much thrive when I am on it and, yes I am human and not 100% on it all the time. Here’s the tea (just learned this slang from a client and kind of love it!) … I am not here to tell you how you should do your morning routine. I’m here to give you an idea of WHY it can be so powerful.
As entrepreneurs, we get to design our own lives. We get to call the shots with how we spend our days and what we work on. Designing a morning routine “formula” or “recipe” is a powerful way to enter the day with focus and clarity, and ensure the work you do for your clients is the best work.
I hope this episode inspires you to create a morning routine that works for you and your life, and most importantly, supports the big goals you want to achieve in 2020.
