Larry Elward grew up in Bridgeport Ct. After seeing the movie the Exorcist he became interested in all aspects of the paranormal. He started out as an investigator with Ed Warren in 1985 and worked on their famous case of the Warren Mass farmer Maurice Therault. It was on this case that he witnessed his first exorcism and met John Zaffis. He attended and graduated from Holy Apostle Seminary in 1988 with a master degree in theology in order to try and understand the theological aspects of the paranormal. He found out that he was pretty much on his own. In 2002 he began his studies in esoteric christianty under the auspices of Bishop Lewis Keizer of California and was ordained a priest in 2004. He and his wife Debbie met at an exorcism in 1998.

Debbie Elward grew up in Watertown Ct. She was born with the biblical gift of discernment of spirits that enabled her to see dead people at an early age. While she was young her family discouraged her thinking it was an over active imagination but as time went on her interest in the paranormal developed she discovered that she had the gift of both clauraudience and claurvoyance, which means that she can both see and hear the spirits enabling her to communicate with the other side. Her gift helps tremendously in exorcisms and haunting investigations. Along with her husband Larry she has investigated many places, persons and things.

Tonight join me in an interview with Carmen Reed the mother that lived through the case that inspired the movie The Haunting in Connecticut. Carmen will answer your questions about what happened in the house and her experiences about what happened. My son started experiencing voices the night we moved in, this escalated over the first week into seeing a man. I would go into the room every time he saw him but no one was there. I looked for him but never found anyone. I didn’t know what to think but I logical concluded, it must be the treatments he was receiving to his head and neck. The other children became involved soon after so I was dealing with ghost stories on a daily bases. At first I treated them as funny but after a short time they became annoying. I began to refuse to talk about ghost at all.

I was running a house with kids all with needs, I had six kids all with wounds I needed to heal with love and understanding. My oldest had his cancer and apparent mental issues, my second kept breaking bones, my baby boy developed mysterious headaches at 3 so bad he was given a cat scan in the middle of the night, along with his asthma that continued to worsen. My daughter was great. My nieces were going thru I don’t even know what with their parents breakup.

The electric bills were astronomical, the doctor bills worse then there was feeding that crew all costing money that was getting harder and harder to come up with.

It has been 21 years since we had an exorcism in that house I have learned more than I could have ever imagined possible about paranormal activity. I am happy to share it with anyone who wants to hear it.

John Zaffis has over thirty years of experience studying and investigating the paranormal. He has had the opportunity to work for and with his aunt and uncle, Ed and Lorraine Warren. This sent John beyond looking for ghosts and hauntings and into studying demonology under the Warrens. This led into John's involvement with cases of possession and exorcism and working with prominent exorcists in this field. Roman Catholic priests, monks, Buddhists, rabbis and ministers. John has assisted and worked with well-known exorcists Bishop Robert McKenna, Malachi Martin and the Rev Jun.

His research has taken him throughout the United States, Canada, England and Scotland covering several thousands of cases. Through hands on investigating with other investigators and clergy, he has obtained a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the paranormal and is considered one of the foremost authorities in the field today.

Ghosts and poltergeists where among some of his first-hand paranormal experiences, as well as the demonic and diabolical. He has also worked extensively with both spiritualists and psychics concerning how their knowledge is used for channeling, reincarnation (past-life regression), or the calling of the spirits for information, and how they use meditation to acquire the information which they are seeking. Because of his personal experiences with hauntings, ESP, near death experiences and other paranormal activities, he is firm in his conviction that such phenomena exist.

John has been featured in the Discovery Channel's documentaries A Haunting in Connecticut and Little Lost Souls. John has also appeared on Unsolved Mysteries, Fox News Live, and many other print and news media events. Johns book Shadows of the Dark was released in 2004 and continues to be one of the most frightening books on the subject of the paranormal.

Richard Phillips

Author of The Second Ship

Richard Phillips has spent over 30 years developing aerospace

software for the U.S. government. During this time, he was

exposed to many classified projects for developing aircraft and

flight-system technologies. He draws on this experience in his

first book in “The Rho Agenda” series, The Second Ship (Synergy

Books, May 2009, 978-0-9815462-6-1, $13.95).

Born and raised in Roswell, N.M., a place that has become the

heart for alien conspiracies, Phillips grew up with a conviction

that we are not alone in this universe.

“I have always held a fascination that there could be life on other

planets,” Phillips says. “I think that suspicion comes growing up

in Roswell.”

Eager to learn more about the government, Phillips attended the

United States Military Academy at West Point where he earned a

Bachelor of Science in engineering, in 1979. As an Army Ranger,

he then went on to serve with First Infantry Division in Europe

before earning a Master of Science in nuclear physics at the Naval Post Graduate School, in 1989.

Starting his professional career as a scientist and researcher, Phillips spent several years performing

classified research at Lawrence Livermore and Los Alamos National Laboratories. He then went on to

work as a computer scientist for General Electric, Hughes Aircraft Information Systems, and Lockheed

Martin Space Operations, developing flight software and simulation systems.

Luke Lukashunas is an internationally known member of both the law enforcement and the security communities. Since graduating from the police academy in 1991, Luke has worked for several police departments in Pennsylvania. He has received hundreds of hours of training in narcotics interdictions, interview & interrogation and in investigative techniques.

In addition to his law enforcement career, Luke spent nine years with one of the nation’s top 5 retailers. During his tenure, he extensively traveled the eastern seaboard of the United States overseeing the company’s safety and asset protection programs. After his departure, Luke spent nearly a year consulting for many of the major retailers, offering guidance on their programs and conducted investigations on their behalf.

Luke is also currently employed by one of the areas leading financial institutions. He leads their fraud and security department. Luke’s innovative ideas are frequently sought out by other organizations and he sits on the board of several organizations which focus on loss reduction and investigations.
