Blessed feast of Pentecost! As we celebrate the coming down of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter as tongues of fire upon the Holy Apostles, let us have confidence to begin the Apostle's fast with zeal and fervour. Not shying away from the difficulty of the fast and not scorning the timing of it post Holy 50, but instead let us welcome this fast with open arms and open hearts.
