Christ has come and bound Satan, releasing us who were formerly the devil's possessions. We who now have liberty and freedom are called to seek our Saviour and Redeemer. For we cannot turn back now unto Egypt, that is the devil, yet many of us also forsake our Saviour even though He was incarnated and came to save us. Let us examine our hearts are turn back to Him each and every moment, looking unto the saints as our example and guides.

Why am at Church? Why do I fast? Why am I alive? What is the meaning of life? All of us should ask ourselves these questions, some of us are forced to ask ourselves sooner rather than later. These questions form the foundation for our beliefs and what governs our whole life. Without asking ourselves these questions we risk living our whole lives in utter meaninglessness. May God help us to seek the Truth and ultimately come to Him to find rest.

We have to remember that everything that we have is the Lord's. We are but stewards and called to be faithful stewards. Yet many times we mistake what we have to be ours. We become proud and conceited, abusing what has never truly been ours. May the Lord have mercy on us and help us be attentive so that at that last Day we may be found worthy to enter into the feast and be called a faithful steward.

God is a God of hope. Though things may seem out of control and in our lives may be un utter chaos, its important to remember that everything is held within our Lord's hands. He is not unaware of what takes place, therefore let us take comfort in Him and run to Him whenever we are in distress.

God wants our hearts. He desires us and desires to be with us. It's up to us then whether we turn to Him or not.
