The concept of freedom is talked about a great deal today. We covet our freedom of choice.

We are free to engage in whatever profession we want. . .live in whatever kind of house we like. . .and for the most part, live in whatever fashion we desire.

God has also given men and women freedom of choice over their response to Him.

However, this choice is much more important than what we might do in life or where we might live.

The fact is that God doesn’t force anyone to follow His way. Though the knowledge of His existence is present in us. . .and through nature. . .and in His Son. . .we are not forced to believe.

However, though God is a God of love, He is also a God of justice, and as a result, His justice demands payment for disregarding Him in this life.

The Apostle Paul clearly spells it out in. . .

Romans 6:23 NAS95 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
