Roger Federer has seemingly put a rough end to 2018 behind him, going undefeated in singles at the Hopman Cup, beating Sascha Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Cam Norrie. Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic's incredible run of final appearences came to an end in Doha, where he lost in the quarterfinals to eventual champion Roberto Bautista Agut. Lastly, I discuss Rafael Nadal's chances to contend in Australia without any competitive tune-ups.
