South Africa's association for the hospitality industry, FEDHASA, has called on the government to prioritize tourism, which was not mentioned in the 2024 State of the Nation Address.  The organization believes the tourism industry can be the fastest route to tackling unemployment, creating jobs, and equipping individuals with skills and livelihoods.
