Pastoral ministry is a heavy task. Though we are inadequate, Christ supplies the strength we need.

Like a master surgeon, Paul wounds his good friends, the Corinthian church, in order to bring repentance and healing.

God comforts us by remaining committed to us, and by sending faithful servants to help care for us.

God’s comfort extends beyond the borders of our suffering. He generously supplies strength so we will be able to comfort others.

Trials come in all shapes and sizes, but God specializes in providing comfort.

The Good Shepherd willingly laid down his life for the sheep and continues to watch over us today.
