Hey, Fire fans! Your Men in Red, the Chicago Fire, played the New England Revolution to a 3-3 draw at Gillette Stadium, behind goals from Georgios Koutsias, Maren Haile-Selassie, and an own goal from the Revs defense. However - and as per usual - the Fire were unable to hold the lead, giving up equalizing goals off of corner kicks to Bobby Wood and Jozy Altidore. (And that was after Noel Buck opened things up for New England with a banger.)

In the second half of the show, Nick looks forward to the mid-week matchup against Eastern Conference rival Toronto FC. TFC is coming off a solid win, but internal struggles between manager Bob Bradley and Italian star Federico Bernardeschi could undermine their chances of a win streak. If the Fire continue to play counter-attacking football, and Lorenzo Insigne and Richie Laryea can't pick up the slack, maybe the Men in Red from the States take the three points.

Hey, Fire fans! It was unofficially Greek Night at Soldier Field with Chicago’s Georgios Koutsias and Atlanta’s Giorgos Giakoumakis combining for three of the six goals on the night. The Greek strikers lifted their teams to a point each, but it was ultimately another disappointing performance by the Men in Red. An abysmal first half was salvaged by a masterful Xerdan Shaqiri corner kick (scored an own goal against the Five Stripes, but we all know it was an Olimpico), and the Fire showed enough effort to salvage a draw.

In today's show, our host uses the goals as jumping off points to analyze the Fire's defensive lapses, lack of talent, and how relying on effort - and utility player/try-hard-effort-guy Fabian Herbers - will always lose out to superior talent. Nick also looks at the Fire's schedule over the next several weeks, and explains how the season could be over very soon.

Hey, Fire fans! The Men in Red put on another joke of a performance at Charlotte FC during their midweek match. Despite the first half goal from Kacper Przybylko (who nearly turned a breakway into a blunder), the Chicago Fire allowed the opposition two late goals. The club from the Queen City saw Brandon Cambridge announce himself to MLS with a two goal performance. The Fire again showed their mental weakness, their tactical incompetence, and poor defending.

In the show's second half, our host looks at the salaries of the Chicago Fire, as recently released by the MLS Players Association (MLSPA). It's not surprising that Shaqiri is vastly underperforming his contract, but the numbers paint a bigger picture of incompetent spending and clueless roster building. Nick compares the Fire roster salaries to LAFC - a team known for constructing solid rosters year over year - and poses the question: What if we took $4 million from Shaqiri's contract and spent it on better players on the bottom half of the roster?

Hey, Fire fans! The Fire are on a win streak! ... kind of. The Chicago Fire repeated their winning effort in regular season MLS play, defeating expansion side St. Louis CITY SC 1-0 in Soldier Field. That made it two in a row in all competitions, the Fire's best run of form in over a month. Hey, Fire fans! What a week it's been! With the firing of manager Ezra Hendrickson and the US Open Cup victory vs. St. Louis City, the miserable loss vs. Nashville SC seems like forever ago. Now, the Men in Red welcome the Arch-rivals to Soldier Field and look to pull off the "St. Louis Double" by beating their new rivals in Open Cup play and MLS regular season play.

Hey, Fire fans. The Chicago Fire have fired manager Ezra Hendrickson and assistant coach Junior Gonzalez. Fans of the Men In Red are breathing a collective sigh of relief (at least until they heard Frank Klopas was been named interim manager). This news comes as no surprise as the Fire have struggled to find any offense this season, frequently blow leads, and are coming off their worst match of the season to Nashville SC.

Down in the Music City, the Fire got rocked 3-0 behind a hat trick from Hany Mukhtar. After two penalty kicks, the side from Chicago collapsed mentally, allowing a third to the reigning MLS MVP. The Fire tried a new 3-5-2 formation, but Nashville was the absolute wrong team for that. Tune in as we analyze the news of the Ezra's firing, review the formation and stats of the game, and what we anticipate for the future of the club.
